Employment History:

1985 to Present (as detailed below) – Positions of increasing responsibility with International Business Machines (IBM). As of 2008, employed by AT&T as a result of IBM's sale of his business unit to AT&T.

2007 to present - Sr. Technical Professional – Setup  lab populated with AIX and windows servers along with associated network gear and firewalls to allow a customer to program a new software application in a controlled environment. Created configuration templates Cisco AS5350 routers. Provided pricing quotes on network and application components to potential customers. Created network design for a quality monitoring application including lan switch setup and final application installation testing/certification. Participated in the review of Request for Proposals on new customer opportunities.

2006 to - 2007 Sr. Technical Professional – Voice subject matter expert for a major U.S. automobile manufacturer. Designed the network regions, the phone templates and settings, the voice codec requirements, the gateway configuration, the phone firmware tftp settings on Avaya S87xx, Avaya G650/G700, and 46xx ip phones. Consultant to other architects involved in the project.

2005 to 2006 - Sr. Technical Professional – Led a project to create a lab environment around VoIP and unified communications technologies. Participated hands on to build/install/configure all equipment and servers. Provided an independent security review of a Linux based operating system under a non-disclosure agreement to a fortune 500 hundred company.

2004 to 2005 - Sr. Technical Professional – Led a successful rollout of the secure voice solution across 22 sites based on his own design. Trained and educated the rollout team and provided assistance on each install to ensure a successful install. His design was later rolled out in over 70 sites EMEA/CALA/AP.

2002 to 2003 - Network Management Professional – Lead architect in design of a secure voice solution to meet internal security requirements. Completely designed and documented a secure voice solution end-to-end including all voice components, pix firewalls and TCPIP flows.

2000 to 2001 - Network Management Professional – Technical supervisor over a team of 20 I/T support staff members split across two states with 2000 end users. Served as primary interface with the customer on all work requests.

1997 to 1999 - System Management Specialist – Responsible for moving an entire I/T infrastructure from an existing facility to a new facility. Responsibilities included: the complete I/T design of the new facility, purchasing/installing/configuring all LAN infrastructure; cabling infrastructure for data and voice; lan room design for data and voice; power requirements for lan room and workstation cubicles; moving servers between facilities; working closely with sub- contractors; and ensuring a smooth transition for end users; created the workstation and server images for all end users needs.

1994 to 1996 - Staff Analyst – Responsible for programming custom applications on mainframe and server based operating systems. Applications included: tracking system to log chemical safety request; I/T helpdesk application to log request and track to closure, later ported this to Lotus Notes and is still in use today by over five thousand end users across five sites internationally; applications to monitor and handle customized contract compliance; SQL stored procedures; programming languages used were REXX/Turbo C/PEC/Lotus Notes/SQL and various other scripting tools.

1993 to 1994 - Staff Analyst – Installed the first LAN within a contact center migrating from a mainframe environment to personal computers. Duties included creating a workstation image for 300 users, creating server images for 10 servers, and ongoing support. This was later replicated to a second location.

1992 to 1993 - Sr. Center Analyst – Demonstrated state of the art contact center technologies around the integration of wireless communications and computer telephony integration with leading CRM applications at technology trade shows in Dallas and other U.S locations..

1986 to 1991 - Sr. Customer Service – Education Coordinator for a five hundred seat contact center. Responsibilities included creating the training curriculum and training over two hundred contact center agents on CRM applications. Additional responsibilities included leading a team of 15 employees, creating reports, supporting managers across a five state area, as well as handling customer request for service and resolving customer escalations.

1984 to 1985 - Parts Coordinator – Responsible for receiving, stocking, shipping of critical parts for IBM customers. Assisted in setting up a new parts warehouse.
